This is a private tour, and your group will consist only of the people you choose to travel with. Our vehicles can accommodate up to 7 people, and if your group is larger, multiple vehicles will be used.

Is there an age limit for the tour?

There is officially no age limit, but due to the extended time spent in the vehicle, we do not recommend this trip for children under 6 years of age. However, if parents are confident that their children are comfortable with traveling long distances, they are welcome to join. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Where will I stay overnight?

You will stay in the accommodation listed in your itinerary, including hotels, safari lodges, or permanent tented camps with en-suite bathrooms. Safari lodges are solid buildings, while tented camps are walk-in safari-style tents that offer the same service as hotels and lodges.

What type of vehicle will be used?

We use specially converted 4×4 safari vehicles, such as Toyota Land cruisers, that can handle the rough Tanzanian road conditions. Each guest will have a window seat, and during game drives, the roof will open for unspoiled views.

Is the price inclusive of meals, and if so, what kind of food will be provided?

Meals as per the itinerary are included, along with mineral water during the safari. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are excluded and must be settled by the guest. You will dine at the respective accommodations. Breakfast is usually a buffet, while dinner is typically a three-course menu. Lunch is mostly enjoyed en-route in the form of a pre-packed lunch box consisting of sandwiches, boiled eggs, fruits, or grilled chicken thighs.

Please inform us if you have any special dietary requirements or food allergies, and we will do our best to cater to them with advanced notice.

Are there any luggage restrictions?

Due to limited space in the vehicle, luggage is restricted to 15 kg in a soft bag or rucksack, and guests are allowed one small piece of hand luggage. Please avoid bringing bulky suitcases as this can cause problems when storing the luggage. Additionally, please check your airline’s respective luggage policy.

Should I bring cash with me?

Yes, bring cash for extras like drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and tips. Please note that only USD bills printed after 2004 will be accepted.

How do I tip?

Tipping after a safari is customary, and we recommend 15-20 USD per day per group for the guide.

What are the visa requirements?

While most nationalities can obtain a visa upon arrival in Tanzania, it is the traveler’s sole responsibility to have all necessary documents. We strongly recommend contacting your embassy for the latest visa regulations.

What vaccinations are required, and is Tanzania a malaria region?

No vaccinations are officially required, but we recommend a yellow fever vaccination for peace of mind since Tanzania is located in a yellow fever region. Although not mandatory, we advise having Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio, and Hepatitis A&B shots up to date.

Malaria is a concern, and we recommend taking precautionary measures. For more information on prophylaxes and possible side effects, please contact your doctor or travel clinic.
