Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha Town – Lake Manyara National Park

Embark on a morning journey from Arusha to the renowned Lake Manyara National Park. This small yet captivating park is celebrated for its iconic tree-climbing lions. As you explore the park, keep an eye out for these unique lions, along with a variety of wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and an abundance of bird species. Enjoy a panoramic view of the great escarpment before concluding the day with a delightful dinner and overnight stay at Marera Valley.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Floor

After an early breakfast, set off for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder provides an exceptional opportunity to encounter the ‘BIG 5’—lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and more. The crater is a haven for diverse wildlife, including numerous bird species around the alkaline lake. Throughout the day’s game drives, marvel at the rich biodiversity, and with luck, witness the fascinating behaviors of the park’s inhabitants. After a day filled with wildlife encounters, return to Marera Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara Hotel – Arusha Town

Wake up at your leisure and enjoy breakfast before departing to Arusha. Optional activities such as cultural tours, walking tours, and a town tour in Arusha are available at an extra cost upon request.
