8-Day Luxury Simba Safari

Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport (IATA:KIA) – Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), an AfrikaKukaye representative will welcome you and transfer you to The Arusha Coffee Lodge. Enjoy the night in one of the Lodge Plantation Rooms and savor the aroma of arabica provided at the lodge.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

While you enjoy your leisurely breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you. Depart at 9:00 am and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive ending in Treetops’ Private Reserve. Stay for 2 nights in a Tree House with a Full Board basis (includes all meals, drinks – premium drinks excluded, laundry service, transfers, game drives, and scheduled activities).

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Treetops, enjoy a full day of activities, including game drives, a visit to an authentic Masai village, a game walk, and sundowners in the bush. Lunch and dinner will be served at Treetops with a Full Board basis.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch on your way to Lake Manyara National Park, famously known for tree-climbing lions and the exciting landscape of the Great Rift Valley. Game drive until evening, then drive to The Manor at Ngorongoro. Stay in a cottage for 2 nights with a Full Board basis.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Floor

After breakfast, an AfrikaKukaye vehicle will drive you down the crater for a full day of exploration. A picnic hamper lunch will be served on the crater floor. Explore more of the crater before heading back to the Manor for evening cocktails, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch on your way to Serengeti National Park, famously known for endless plains, the great wildebeest migration, and countless sightings of big cats. Game drive until evening, then stay at either Serengeti Pioneers Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp, depending on the time of the year. Stay in a luxury ensuite tent for 2 nights with a Full Board basis.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Full day game drives starting at dawn in Serengeti National Park. Drive to areas where large herds of wildebeest might be present in this time of the year. Dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp. (Optional: Balloon safari ride in the morning before the game drive, including a scenic breakfast after the ride, additional price).

• Accommodation: Elewana Serengeti Pioneer camp

Day 8: Serengeti National Park – Flight to Arusha

Watch a spectacular sunrise or stretch your legs on a game walk if staying at Pioneer Camp. Lunch will be served at the camp, followed by a game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. On arrival, be welcomed by an AfrikaKukaye representative and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Depending on your outbound flight details, enjoy the use of a dayroom and then be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport.

End of Safari.

Cancellation Policy

• A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
• The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
• The rest of the payment should be paid 31 days before arrival
