You will explore the renowned parks of Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, and Tarangire National Park, known for its abundant elephants and iconic baobab trees. The journey continues to the Serengeti National Park, celebrated for its annual wildebeest migration, and Ngorongoro Crater, where you have the chance to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos.

Itinerary

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, offering opportunities to capture impressive shots of lions atop trees or with the backdrop of abundant park birds. In the afternoon, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Early after breakfast, head to the mighty Serengeti National Park. During the en-route game drive, journey towards the central parts of Serengeti, encountering diverse wildlife such as leopards, prides of lions, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, buffaloes, and various plain animals. Continue to the camp for dinner and a comfortable night.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Embark on a drive into central Serengeti, exploring the Seronera Valley known for its diverse resident wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, impalas, and numerous predators. Seronera attracts the highest concentrations of large predators in Africa, making it a wildlife-rich area. (Optional: Early morning balloon safari, inclusive of bush breakfast with an amazing view).

Day 4: Serengeti National Park game drive then Ngorongoro Crater rim

After breakfast, engage in a half-day game drive in Serengeti with a packed picnic lunch. Later, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater floor

Wake up for breakfast and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunch. Complete formal registrations at the Ngorongoro gate before descending into the crater. Enjoy a perfect view from the viewpoint before proceeding with a game drive until late afternoon. Ascend from the crater and drive to your accommodation for meals and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park

Wake up early and drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its abundant baobab trees, Tarangire offers a lot of migratory movement within its ecosystem. Engage in a game drive until evening and check in at your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park game drive then later drive to Arusha Town

This park is the least visited along Tanzania’s northern circuit, yet it boasts a large elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Game drives during the dry season near the Tarangire River offer thrilling encounters as animals cluster closer to the water source. Consider an optional two-hour walking safari from 6 am with an armed ranger (additional cost applies). Later, drive to Arusha Town, concluding your safari adventure.
