6-Day Adventure- Lions of the Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Your journey begins with a tour through Lake Manyara National Park, a small park renowned for its tree-climbing lions. Here, you may encounter elephants, buffalo, flamingos, and a variety of bird species. Following this, you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a remarkable natural wonder, providing an opportunity to witness lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and a diverse array of animals. The crater is home to an abundance of wildlife, making it a hotspot for animal sightings. Later, you’ll explore Serengeti National Park, known for its annual wildebeest migration. The park is home to the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Finally, you’ll visit Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its abundant elephants and iconic baobab trees. The park is also home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. The landscape feature is spectacular and worth it for photographers.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Depart from Arusha at 7:30 a.m. with packed lunch and mineral water. Upon reaching the national park gate, undergo a quick formal registration. Enjoy a game drive until 5:00 p.m., witnessing elephants, buffalo, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. Transfer to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive. Journey towards the Seronera area, encountering diverse wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Reach the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Engage in full-day game drives in Serengeti National Park, starting at dawn. Experience unlimited game drives away from the crowds, offering optimal wildlife viewing opportunities. Spot the “Big Five” and witness the Great Migration. Dinner and overnight at your lodge. (Optional balloon safari ride available at an additional cost).

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, embark on a half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch. Later, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

Wake up early for breakfast and commence the Ngorongoro crater tour. Descend into the crater and explore its diverse landscapes, stopping at the viewpoint for a panoramic view. After a picnic lunch, proceed with a game drive until late afternoon. Ascend from the crater and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its abundant elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Arusha Town

Begin your day with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and drive to Arusha at 9:00 a.m. (Optional cultural activities, walking tours, town tour, and snake park tour available at an extra cost upon request).

End of Safari.
